YELLO will release a brand new album, 'Toy', on the 30th September. Described as "liquid techno, continental torch songs and myriad gleaming points in between" the album will be the duo's first in seven years.
The band have confirmed that they will play two live shows in Germany to promote the 'Toy' project. The shows, at the Kraftwerk Berlin venue, will take place on October 26th and 28th and will be the first full live shows played by the band in their 38-year career.
Yello's Boris Blank had this to say about the shows:
"At the center of our show are more than twenty Yello songs that I have 'reloaded' for live performance. Of course, we will play the Yello hits, but also tracks from Toy. To the future through the past - the world of Yello, live on stage. Finally."
